Frequently asked questions
What waste do you collect?
Plant-based and biodegradable food waste, used cooking oil and fats, industrial and catering food waste, category 3 animal by-products, and faulty, contraband or excise non-food goods.
Are the containers free?
Containers for used oil and fats are provided free of charge. Terms for other containers depend on your waste volume and collection frequency.
How often do you collect?
On a pre-agreed schedule or on call – whichever suits you.
What container sizes are available?
30, 60, 120 and 240 litres. We take the full containers away and leave clean, disinfected ones.
Can we watch goods being destroyed?
Yes. If you wish, you can watch the destruction, and we help you fill in the paperwork for customs, police or the State Non-Food Products Inspectorate.
